Palladium Boots have become my newest footwear obsession, and I am certainly not their only fan. I have been spotting these on people all over the city lately in every style and color. Last fall I found pairs for my boys and they both fell in love with their comfortable, cool design. They are the perfect hybrid of boot and street sneaker and go with everything.
I figured that the boots would be limited to the cooler seasons, but Palladium’s new collection for the spring has proven me wrong completely. Their new lineup is just as cool, but in softer colors and lighter materials. I not only found the perfect spring boots for the boys, but branched out into boots for the girls as well.
Palladium has numerous options for spring, but I went with the Baggy Zipper ($55) in Orion Blue/Salmon Pink for both kids. I love the gender neutral, pastel color combination and relaxed distressed wash. They can be worn tied up or folded down, have ultra strong rubber outsoles, and the side zipper makes them easy to get on and off.
Joe selected the Baggy Lite Cvs ($85) in White/Vapor and he loves the almost weightless feel of the shoes – perfect for walks around the city. They are 12 oz. canvas with jersey lining, and a stripe that adds some edge. They look great laced up or folded over and the light gray color is great for the warmer seasons.
For this mama I wanted a cool spring boot that I could wear with jeans, leggings, or shorts when it is hot. I chose the Pallabrouse Baggy ($85) in Titanium/High-Rise. I love the distressed wash canvas and the cool gray cold be worn year round. They are extremely comfortable and perfect to thrown on for a casual day with the kids.
But no boot is complete without the city test – could the Palladiums hold up to West Village terrain?
I think it is safe to say we are a Palladium family. Check out their new spring collection on their site.
